Yasar is a Project Associate at the Climate Resilience Practice (CRP) team at World Resources Institute India. Here his responsibilities include policy research, stakeholder consultations, data analytics, and drafting reports on topics such as mainstreaming of climate change, climate proofing, and climate finance. Yasar has worked on projects with The World Bank, BMU (German Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety), and Walmart Foundation, among others. He has also worked on proposals of World Resources Institute India with German Watch, M. S. Swaminathan Research Foundation, and others.

Prior to joining World Resources Institute India, Yasar has worked with Chegg India Ltd., and Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Ltd. He has also been a volunteer at Right Walk Foundation that works in the education sector.

Yasar holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay. He enjoys travelling, watching documentaries, and playing chess.
