Shivani Lakshman
Research Assistant, Corporate Water Stewardship

Shivani is a Research Assistant on WRI's Corporate Water Stewardship team. She coordinates engagement with the private sector and supports advisory services and thought-leading research on topics including water risk, disclosure, strategies, and stewardship. She is also the primary point of contact for Aqueduct tool user inquiries.
Shivani holds a B.A. in Environmental Sciences, a B.A. in Spanish, and a minor in Public Policy and Leadership from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining WRI, she was an intern with the High Atlas Foundation, where she supported sustainable community development in rural Morocco.
In her free time, Shivani enjoys traveling with friends and family, playing tennis, and trying new recipes and restaurants in the DC area.
