Nanda Aung is corporate water stewardship associate in WRI's Water program. He advises businesses to assess their exposure to water risks, develop corporate water targets and identify actions to meet the targets. He has expertise in environmental systems analysis, environmental technologies, agri-food supply chain and urban water use.

Prior to joining WRI, Nanda led WWF's sustainable agriculture program in Myanmar. He also worked for HEINEKEN's sustainable utilities and environment department. He has experience in working with smallholder farmers and SMEs to develop sustainable supply chains. He also has extensive experience working with Myanmar government departments to strengthen national policies in responsible and cleaner production.

Nanda holds a master's degree in urban environmental management from Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands and a bachelor's degree in molecular biology from Stetson University in Florida, USA.

Nanda lives in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. On weekends, Nanda enjoys jogging on the Erasmus Bridge.
