Meredith Hess
Associate, Water Program

Meredith Hess is an Associate for WRI's Water Program. She works across the Water Program and its various initiatives, specializing in stakeholder engagement, research, and project management. Previously at WRI, Meredith was a Grants and Finance Specialist for the Water Program. In this role, she managed the operations for a variety of projects through financial analysis and grant management.
Prior to joining WRI in 2019, Meredith worked at Habitat for Humanity International with their Global Program Design and Implementation team. In this position, she supported Habitat's Director of International Shelter Initiatives on WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene), energy, and land tenure initiatives.
Meredith holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina.
In her free time, Meredith enjoys being outside whenever possible, watching soccer with friends and family, and continuing her pursuit to find the best cup of coffee DC has to offer.
