Adam Davidson
Senior Associate, Urban Mobility, WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities

Adam Davidson, Ph.D. is a Senior Associate with the Urban Mobility Team. He works to expand our understanding of technology and mobility services in the transportation sector, with an emphasis on sustainability.
His research seeks to understand how information technologies can change demand on urban infrastructure and how institutions adapt to those changes. His dissertation focused on the spatial supply and demand effects of for-hire-vehicles before and after ride-sourcing became widely available in North America.
At WRI Adam co-manages the Mobility and Accessibility Program and Reimagining Public Transit initiatives with the Integrated Transport & Innovation team.
Adam earned his doctorate in Geography at the City University of New York. In addition, he holds a Masters in City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and Bachelors in International Relations and Environmental Policy from Tulane University.
